I am Sandra Leslie White, the Founder of Sandra Leslie White Ministries and Healing LLC. My mission statement is found in Hosea 2:20 from The Message Bible:

“In that day, this is God’s message still, you will know Me, God, for Who I really am.”
(Center the bible verse)

Above all else, I want to know God for Who He really is, and I want you to know Him too.

I love the Word of God as it is seen in the Old and New Testaments of the Bible, and I live to embrace a biblical worldview to the best of my ability. As a graduate of Asbury Theological Seminary, I hold a Masters degree from the E. Stanley Jones School of World Mission and Evangelism.

I began my work as a missionary on the backside of a horse racing track in Lexington, Kentucky, reaching women who had basic survival issues as they struggled to find food, shelter and work in the world of Thoroughbred horse racing. Soon, I established a working horse farm for retired and injured racehorses and a shelter for homeless horsewomen that love and work alongside these magnificent animals.

As much as I loved my work as a missionary, the desire to fulfill the call to evangelism was tugging at my heart. I realized that I needed a bigger barn to help more women through life by introducing them to the love of my life, Jesus Christ.

As a woman, I had no idea about the journey I would embark upon as I began this quest to reach women with the truth about God. He took me took me to a place I did not want to go:

God took me on a journey to discover the reasons for my broken heart, and how to heal it.

One day on a lonely beach in South Texas, my Bible opened to the second chapter of Hosea, the Old Testament Book written by the Prophet of Love. He called Himself “Ishi” which in ancient Hebrew means “dear husband” or “my man.”

God wanted me to know Him as the husband I never knew…

I write, speak and coach women who need to be healed from broken heartedness, and to help those who desire to discover their true purpose on the planet.

How and why did I take this journey?
I was born into a prominent family, with all the makings of the American dream, and had a perfect life on the outside, but I was held hostage on the inside. From the time I was four years old, I have lived in a private prison of pain caused by fallen men in a fallen world.

To alleviate the pain, I became an overachiever, with two degrees and two remarkable careers in business and ministry.

I married a pastor, but the marriage suffered a slow slide into the darkness.  I discovered that the reason for his anger and dysfunction was rooted in a secret life of sexual addiction. So, I became a statistic:  divorced and devastated. Remaining in full time ministry, I navigated the minefield of single life while raising two children on a horse farm in Kentucky, filled with broken down people and Thoroughbreds.

And then it all came crashing down

After going through so much, I became desperate for help and began a long season of searching for relief from the pain of heartbreak caused by sexual misconduct. I spent years, and a small fortune, with therapists, Christian counselors and self-help books to find healing.

Then came the day of revelation:
Early one morning, on a lonely beach in South Texas, my Bible fell open to the Old Testament Book of Hosea, Chapter Two, Verse 16

"In that day, You will call me Ishi, (dear husband) and no longer call me Baali (my master)."

And I was alone on the beach without one.

This one verse changed my life. Over the next five years, I embarked on a healing journey with God, as He removed everything that pinned me to the past so that He could release me into the future.

I am now writing, speaking, and teaching on the reality of God, in the wake of an international war on women in our homes, our churches, our communities, and our world. My first book, My God, My Man captures the essence of my journey while teaching practical solutions for women who are longing for their hearts, and their lives, to be whole again.

Single or married, young or old, I, Sandra Leslie White, am committed to helping women find lasting love, and claim their true identity in God, through an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ.
